Storage Liability
Understanding our responsibilities and your protections when storing goods in our facilities
General Terms of Storage
All goods stored in our facilities are subject to the following general conditions of storage liability:
- Maximum storage period: 12 months unless otherwise agreed in writing
- All stored items must be properly packaged and labeled
- Hazardous materials are strictly prohibited
- We reserve the right to inspect contents for safety and compliance
Important: Our liability begins when goods are received at our facility and ends when goods are collected by the customer or authorized representative.
Liability Limits
Our liability for loss or damage is subject to the following limits:
- Maximum liability per pallet: $500
- Maximum liability per item: $2,000
- Maximum liability per customer: $10,000 per incident
- No liability for consequential losses or business interruption
Customers may purchase additional insurance coverage at the time of storage agreement.
Damage Claims Process
To file a claim for damaged or lost goods, follow this timeline:

Notification
Report damage within 48 hours of discovery via our online portal or email.

Documentation
Submit photos, original packing slips, and purchase receipts within 7 days.

Inspection
Our team will inspect the claim within 14 business days.
4
Resolution
You'll receive a written response within 30 days of complete documentation.
Exclusions from Liability
We are not liable for damage or loss caused by:
- Acts of God (floods, earthquakes, etc.)
- War or civil unrest
- Improper packaging by customer
- Inherent vice (natural deterioration of goods)
- Pest infestation unless caused by our negligence
- Changes in market value
